Nice to meet you!

Hi! I’m Katie, a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LPC, NCC) practicing in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Antioch University and a Master's in Liberal Studies from The New School for Social Research. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in the nonprofit sector—meaningful work that taught me a lot about communities, resilience, and the systems that shape our lives.

My path to therapy was a personal one. During a particularly challenging period, my own therapist helped me navigate struggles I didn't think I could get through. That experience showed me the transformative power of having someone truly in your corner, and it inspired me to offer that same support to others. I understand what it's like to take that first step, and I'm honored to walk alongside clients as they find their own paths forward.

I do a lot of values work with clients because I believe that living in alignment with what matters most is essential to a fulfilling life. My own top values—adventure, authenticity, curiosity, self-development, and connection—shape both my work and how I move through the world. Outside of sessions, you'll find me hiking, rock climbing, gardening, or planning the next adventure with my family. At home, life stays lively tending to my farmette.

Whether you're just starting to explore therapy or you've been on this journey before, I'm here to meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care.
